10-Night Seychelles Complete — Mahé to North Island

7 nights Monaco → Antibes ~85 nm

Route Overview

The Route

Day 1 — Mahé: Embarkation

Board at Eden Island Marina, Mahé. An afternoon exploring Victoria — the world's smallest capital, with its famous clock tower (a miniature of Big Ben, given by Britain), the extraordinary market and the National Museum. Welcome dinner at Mahé's best fish restaurant, Marie Antoinette.

Day 2 — Mahé: Beau Vallon & Morne Seychellois

Beau Vallon Bay on Mahé's north coast — the longest accessible beach on the island, with an afternoon beach volleyball culture and excellent water sports. A morning walk in the Morne Seychellois National Park for birdwatching — the Seychelles warbler, the Seychelles blue pigeon and the paradise flycatcher are endemic to the islands.

Day 3 — Silhouette Island

Sail to Silhouette — the wild, pristine national park island. The Labriz resort is the only development; the rest of the island is primal rainforest. Hiking, snorkelling and an extraordinary sense of the Indian Ocean at its most unspoiled.

Day 4 — Praslin: Anse Lazio

The finest beach in the Seychelles — pink granite boulders, overhanging takamaka trees, warm turquoise water. Arrive early for the most peaceful experience before the day-trippers from the hotels arrive by boat.

Day 5 — Vallée de Mai

The UNESCO palm forest — coco-de-mer trees up to 800 years old, the Seychelles black parrot calling from the canopy, and the extraordinary sound and light of an ancient forest unchanged since the time of the dinosaurs (not literally, but it feels that way). Afternoon at Anse Georgette (permit required — worth every effort to obtain).

Day 6 — La Digue

Arrive at La Digue — Anse Source d'Argent before the day-trip boats, cycling to Petite Anse and Grand Anse through forests of giant takamaka trees, snorkelling off the rocks at Pointe Zanguilles. La Digue at sunset, with the silhouette of the granite boulders against the sky, is a perfect moment.

Day 7 — Félicité Island

A short passage east to Félicité — a privately owned island (Six Senses Zil Pasyon resort) of extraordinary beauty. Non-guests can anchor in the bay and snorkel on the pristine reef. The biodiversity here — hawksbill turtles, rays, reef sharks, moray eels — is remarkable.

Day 8 — Curieuse & Saint-Pierre

Curieuse for the giant tortoises and the red-earth landscape, then Saint-Pierre islet — a tiny granite outcrop in the middle of a pristine coral reef. The snorkelling here, with visibility often exceeding 30 metres, is among the finest in the Indian Ocean.

Day 9 — North Island

The most exclusive destination in the Seychelles — North Island resort (11 villas, each over 450 square metres) is considered one of the finest hotels in the world. Non-guests can anchor in the bay; those who have booked a villa arrive to a world of absolute luxury and extraordinary conservation effort. The island has been comprehensively restored to its native ecosystem.

Day 10 — Return to Mahé

A final morning at anchor near North Island before the return passage to Mahé. A last afternoon in Victoria, the market and one final meal of fresh Seychellois fish before disembarkation.

Day 11 — Disembarkation

Farewell breakfast before disembarkation. Seychelles International Airport (Mahé) has direct flights to Dubai, Doha, Nairobi, Paris, Frankfurt and other international hubs.
