St. Vincent and the Grenadines — a chain of 32 islands and cays stretching south towards Grenada — represents the quintessential Caribbean charter experience. Key Islands & Anchorages

• Mustique: The private island estate — home to a select community of villas owned by royalty, rock legends and film stars. Basil's Bar on the beach is the legendary social heart. A permit is required for overnight stays.
• Bequia: The most charming island in the Grenadines — Admiralty Bay is one of the best anchorages in the Caribbean, the town of Port Elizabeth is genuinely laid-back, and the local boatbuilders still make traditional wooden vessels by hand.
• Tobago Cays: A protected marine park of five uninhabited islands — one of the most beautiful anchorages in the Caribbean, with hawksbill turtles feeding on the sea grass just metres from the yacht.
• Canouan: Home to the Carenage Bay resort and one of the finest golf courses in the Caribbean — sophisticated, quiet and beautifully positioned.
• Mayreau & Saltwhistle Bay: A tiny island with just 200 inhabitants — Saltwhistle Bay is a double-sided beach of extraordinary beauty.

Best Season

December to May — the trade wind season. The Grenadines sit south of the hurricane belt, making them one of the few Caribbean destinations open year-round with a lower (though not zero) hurricane risk. The Christmas–New Year period is the most popular; book at least a year in advance.

Charter Considerations

SVG applies Eastern Caribbean dollar (XCD) but USD is universally accepted. Mustique requires a Mustique Company permit for overnight stays. Tobago Cays Marine Park charges entry fees. APA 25–30%. Fly into St. Vincent (E.T. Joshua Airport) or Canouan Airport directly from Barbados. Grenada is an easy daysail south for extended itineraries.
